With the inspiration of a few friends of mine, I have begun a new little art project. The idea is simple: write a quote. Use some different fonts. Add some sketches and ribbons and things. All it takes is a sketchbook, some flair pens, and a few ideas.
Disclaimer: As I began this project I turned to Pinterest for ideas. My first few lettering pages are nearly exact replicas of those I found online, trying to get the hang of it. Then I began to incorporate quotes and fonts and do it all on my own.
As I have left Minneapolis to spend the holidays with my family, I find myself missing the weekly adventures in the city with my friends. Scrolling through these pictures on my camera makes me look forward to going back.
